Abstract

The Epidemiology of the Occupationales Diseases is very close related to the classical methodology of the Epidemiology and Statistics for common acute and chronic diseases. Sometimes are different and specific and sometimes are similar such a case as certain cancers. The main purpose will to be know the agent and its damage, and second purpose know its existence in order to confirm the causality of the disease. This correlation is the assessment of risk. The work describe a design for descriptive and analytical epidemiological studies with its advantage and disadvantages in a developing country as Chile. Example of national and foreign countries are given in tables with its explanation. A general commentary closes the requirements needed for achieving good research and analysis of occupational diseases for the future using the analytical epidemiology. Finally, the work deals with the risk assessment and the risk management according the opinion of selected specialists.
