The conducts and attitudes in relation to masturbation and sexual intercourse are studied in a group of university students from different careers. The relationship to independent variables, sexual knowledge and other sexual conducts is examined. 91.55% of men and 23.16% of women admitted practicing masturbation, and 67.95% of men and 29.22% of women admitted to having had coitaI experience. Factors that have a great influence on sexual behavior include the person’s sex and to a lesser extent, their profession of a religion. Different profiles for each sex are given. Some factors that have a negative influence on the psychosexual development of young people are pointed out: the discrepancy between what one thinks and does; lack of knowledge ant myths; the greater repression exerted against woman during the socialization process; etc.
