Abstract

Objective: To look into the meanings that a homeless person assigns to his occupational choices, regarding his experience and participation in a “Programa Calle”. Method: A qualitative research, with a phenomenological approach and 3 semi structured interviews. Findings: Our main findings lies in the importance that the interviewed person assigns to the possibility of being able to perform in significant occupations within safe spaces and the articulation of several support networks around him. Conclusion: The meanings of his occupational choices are important to his motivation and the intervention is coherent with his background.
