Crisis de adolescencia

Abstract

463 records of adolescents under care of the Adolescence Section of the Growth and Development Center" from the Children's Hospital "Roberto del Rio" were studied. The main purpose of the study was to analyze factors modifying the developmental crisis of the adolescents, dividing these factors according to those affecting the adolescents within their families and outside their families. Stability of the family group was the most important factor. Extrafamiliar factors like school and peer groups ranked second in exerting their influence. Both factors would contribute to the equilibrium or desequilibrium of the adolescent behaviour.
