Características socioeconómicas de adolescentes embarazadas, en situación irregular

Abstract

1- Characteristics of 300 pregnant adolescents followed by a Specialized Center from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the University Hospital (Universidad de Chile) are analyzed.
2.- The group of study is characterized by its extreme youthness, its single condition and the high proportion of school dropout
3.- The majority of partners does not assume its role, and the condition of families is mostly inadequate.
4.- The need of implementing programs of control that include the biological as well as the psychosocial factors involved in this problem is commented.
