1.- Biomedical issues concerning acceptability in 200 single adolescents eligible for family planning are analyzed.
2.- Characteristics of age, methods of family planning, morbidity during pregnancy, type of delivery and birthweight are compared. Statistically significant differences were found for morbidity during pregnancy and acceptability.
3.- A high rate of acceptability and a low rate of discontinuity was found. Discontinuity rate was lower for intrauterine devices than for oral and other contraceptives.
