Abstract

The authors show a program of family medicine followed in a Peripheric Clinic of Primary Health located in the eastern area of Santiago endeavoring to perform the postulates of the Health Ministry and the Faculty of Medicine, to the effect of securing to the population an integral health attention, uninterrupted and personalized, based on the family group. Set out at the beginning of 1982, the time elapsed has been fundamentally devoted to stabilization through the incorporation of beneficiary families, getting ready the staff of teaching personnel oriented to the boarding students of pediatrics, and an initial evaluation.
