Reseña de participación científica en el XII Congreso Latinoamericano de Plantas Medicinales (COLAPLAMED)

Abstract

Scientific activity is not only about working endless hours in a laboratory or analyzing data and statistics,
writing projects to self-finance research or spending nights trying to shape the results into articles that
will later be published in specialized journals; Exchange between colleagues is also very important.
For this reason, from time to time scientists working in related areas meet at conferences and events where
they are nourished by new ideas and share their experiences. This is the case of the XII Latin American Congress
of Medicinal Plants (COLAPLAMED), which had the participation of several researchers from Latin American universities, who had the opportunity to share their work in science before the scientific community. This review discusses some of the outstanding participations of Chilean academics in this contest.
