Adolescent development impact of social vulnerability

Abstract

Economic, social and cultural poverty is highly negative for human development, since it affects the quality of life and well-being of the population in general, but particularly devastating in early life stages ofe life when the growth and development of people is expected. Literature focusing on adolescent growth and development and the effect of poverty and social exclusion are systematically reviewed, in order to adequately understand and accompany this population group, both individually and populationally.
