Medical specialties in Chile 2019: looking to the future

Abstract

Requirements of medical specialists in relation to future demands is analyzed. In spite it is difficult to predict future supply and demands, changes in total population growth, population aging, increase in number and budgets of medical resources and human development index change, are analyzed in relation to categories of physicians required and medical education consequences in a ten year projection.
