Abstract

Gender violence and discrimination are frequent in the workplace environment, including medical practice. This includes sexist humor, horizontal segregation in medical specialties, differential access to positions of power and sexual harassment in health facilities. It is necessary to adopt a comprehensive policy for addressing these sources of violence, ensuring health facilities free of discrimination and sexual harassment.
