Abstract

As soon as news of the earthquake in Haiti reached Chile, our Health Ministry organized a health volunteer’s mission. The first team, based exclusively in medical doctors, traveled in February 13. On February 21 the second team, composed by 18 MD, nurses and medical assistants arrived to Haiti. On February 6, the third team composed by 5 professionals was arrived. Activities and reflections from four members both teams are presented. We intend to summarize and propose suggest about emergency and catastrophe immediate health response, both national and international level.
