Dilemas de la profesión médica y sus reflejos en Chile

Abstract

From the point of view of the sociology of professions, paper deals with the development of the profession of medicine, its proyects, values, associative forms and modes of collective action. The work ends with historical considerations about the Chilean physicians so as to contribute to the better understanding of their dilemmas and roles played in the health policy decision-making.
