A modo de epistemología: ¿cómo conocemos en medicina?

Abstract

The way to see and interpret the world in the discipline of medicine has been proven with time and approved by this group, as they try to give solutions to individual and society’s health problems. At the end of the 20" century, medicine took the seat as a privilege and powerful knowledge. This knowledge can be seen in the scientific community with its compromises, norms and values; it can also be seen through the medical epistemology, the question being, “how do we know within our activity?”. As a way of describing this, it will be shown in a general way, the historical process of medical knowledge. It followed a path starting with the exterior or the divine and went on to the secularization of the modernity and then on to the constructivism. Finally, we will look at particular concept of paradigm expressed by Kuhn but applied to our field.
