Problemas y preocupaciones de los estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM-X) acerca de su futuro ejercicio profesional

Resumen

The present study was intended to identify anxieties of students of‘ the last academic year of Dentistry of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana related to problems that they thought might find in dental practice, as well as their confidence in the ability that they had to control those problems in their near confrontation with professional practice. Ninety one of 97 students responded a questionnaire that was previously tested in other dental school. The degree of concern of pupils about difficulties that they could find in their future professional practice was essentially the same that those they mentioned were able to manage and solve. Sex, age groups and clinical practice of students, íls well as level of studies of the parents of students were also considered.
