Material and methods: to describe this experience, we used the Kern model that is related to the curricular de- sign within the health area, based on six stages that require the review of training needs from the perspective of different relevant actors in the process. Results: the implementation of the course allowed the delivery of contents for the understanding of the migratory phenomenon, in the context of health care, it had a positive evaluation by the participants and the evaluation allows a considerable improvement for future versions.
