Abstract

A Curricular Plan is presented, which permits to ensure a professional adequate to the needs demanded by the political, economical and social development of the country, The proposal for an Educational Plan, which pursues an academic degree of Licentiate in Nutrition and Dietetic has an structure of five years studies, based on the academic and professional profile; the requests made by those titled, who are working in public or private services, as well as, actual international recommendations. The technical methodologies utilized were bibliographical revisions and interviews in order to conceive a professional with a capacity to diagnose nutritional conditions of a community in an individual or collective approach; to be able to organize and administer feeding programmes, nutrition and educations and performances in the field of investigation integrated to different groups of professionals within its on sector, so as to fall in the solutions and prevention of nutritional problems and to collaborate actively with the compromise that Chile accepted to participate in the International Nutrition Conference, held in Rome, December 1992.
